Apocalyptic landscape is a new anthology of poems, edited by Steve Ely. The poems emerged from a creative writing short course devised by Ely, Writing the Apocalyptic Landscape which encouraged participants to generate visionary responses to the crisis of the Anthropocene based on landscapes that were important to them.

The course and anthology are part of an AHRC -funded research project Ted Hughes’ Expressionism: Visionary Subjectivity

The evening includes readings by Steve Ely, Ralph Dartford, Frankie Mullen, Elvire Roberts and Adam Strickson.
