Join our publishing in conversation event. Author Molly Aitken will interview the editor, Lily McIlwain, from Orion Publishing  group. They will discuss getting into publishing; what editors are looking for; the current landscape of publishing  in the UK; and how to work with an editor. Lily McIlwain is an editor at Weidenfeld & Nicolson, an imprint of the Orion Publishing Group, where she mainly works on narrative non-fiction. She joined W&N in 2023, prior to which she worked in tech. Lily enjoys publishing exceptional writing that illuminates the world we live in – and our relationships to one another – in fresh and fascinating ways.
