Beth Kingham is a portrait artist working primarily with oils. Her paintings focus heavily on light and its effect on the colour, especially on the contours of the face and the reflection on the skin. Kingham grew up in London and moved to the edge of Sheffield to get away from the city and to be closer to the countryside. Here, she started a fine srt course at Sheffield Hallam University where she has been working on her practice.
