Brooke Gregory is a visual artist that normally explores portraiture and staged photography to pursue controversial, emotional or personal themes. Her work utilises negative space and perspective to provide social awareness and understanding.
While studying at Sheffield Hallam, Gregory has developed her confidence with peers through teamwork during exhibitions as well as exploring new photographical skills in the studio.
Recently, she has taken an autobiographical approach to her photography by taking herself out of her comfort zone to explore monochromatic bodyscape photography about domestic violence and mental health that incorporates material as a symbol of both confinement and healing.
