After doing her Major Project, Catherine Saunders would love to pursue a career within the outdoor design industry. She enjoyed being part of the project from initial concept generation to outcome, and the iterative process of the design work. She found using physical prototyping to inform her design helpful and loved learning more about her material and manufacturing processes throughout.

During the course, Catherine has developed her skills in CAD, particularly in the adobe suite. She’s able to tailor her design work to a brand’s ideals and enjoyed following a brand’s identity on previous projects. She’s also been able to apply new knowledge about sustainable manufacturing methods to her designs.
