Clo Evans currently practicing at Hallam University in Sheffield, explores surrealism and symbolism in her art, employing bright colours and psychedelic patterns primarily with alcoholic markers. Her main thematic focus revolves around identity, examining how humans mask their true selves to fit in contrasted with the darker issues they face internally. Art has served as Clo’s lifelong escapism, enabling her to express emotions she struggles to voice aloud. Clo has participated in exhibitions such as “The Human Condition” in 2021 and the interim exhibition in 2023. She is set to showcase her work at the Sheffield Hallam Fine Art degree show in May 2024.
