George Wheeler-Thompson, aka Bartie illustrations, is an illustrator who works digitally to develop and create a wide variety of fantastical characters. Experimenting a lot with the fantasy genre and nature, they explore how these intertwine when creating characters and narratives using a natural cold colour palette. Their narrative work takes these characters and places them within well thought-out worlds, though they would like to experiment more with different genres in the future, like horror. As a queer person. they often explore lgbtq+ themes, as well as women’s rights and climate change. These social issues are depicted in their work, which can range from digital drawing to fashion pieces, such as their Goblins Anthology project. Their most recent and ongoing project is a fantasy graphic novel, Henbell.
