Georgia Woolley
After three years at Sheffield Hallam, Georgia Woolley hopes to venture into commercial design. Woolley envisions herself creating products that solve everyday problems. User-centered design, with its strategic and logical approach, resonates with her as it aims to help real individuals with genuine issues—an area she eagerly desires to be a part of. Woolley has developed a keen interest in kitchenware, which she can readily envision pursuing in the future. Her main sources of inspiration thus far have been existing companies in the kitchenware market, as they are already making significant strides in the field she hopes to eventually contribute to. Although she didn’t participate in a placement year, Wolley is eager to secure several short-term industry placements. These opportunities would not only provide her with a glimpse into the working environment but also help expand her skill set across various domains. Wolley is determined to gain practical experience and continue her professional development.
