Josie Millwood’s plans for the short term are to continue working on her graphic novel for the module ‘Art and its Publics’ and enter work into the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize. Long term, Millwood will continue with the Shaman Mystery School to deepen her knowledge of the teachings and go deeper into shamanic journeys into the hidden realms and create more artwork depicting them. She also hopes to sell copies of her graphic novel and prints of her work online or on a stall.

Millwood shared: “As I started the course during lockdown, I was a bit limited creatively and so my work was limited to drawing, painting and small sculpture. But returning to the studios allowed access to workshops to try out other methods of creation. This course has helped me to develop my practice which wouldn’t have happened if I was left to my own devices. Although it has been a tough time for many, including myself, this course has pulled me through by allowing me to focus on what matters to me.”
