Kris Birtwistle is a designer with a background in engineering. “I have found the transition over to the Arts side both challenging and enlightening. It has encouraged a new way of thinking, a world of possibilities, contrasting the world of limits that I came from. I would love to do more research into dementia as this is a topic very close to my heart and I am passionate about making the experience easier for both those who live with dementia but also who live around it too, through creative and intelligent design”.
