Madina Sabir is a BA Fashion Design graduate from Sheffield Hallam University. During the course, Sabir learnt how to create designs that clearly showed inspiration from specified and chosen themes and her design aesthetic. The course has prepared Sabir for joining the fashion industry, including meeting tight deadlines, critiquing to perfect garments and how to make a design personal. Sabir started the course with little pattern making and construction knowledge and experience; she is now confident creating patterns that reflect and imitate her envisioned designs, whilst her construction has developed through recreating and sampling to produce desired shapes and neat appearances. She has also strengthened her skills in promoting and displaying her work as the course has helped her to create a portfolio and discover her style of presence. She can confidently create simple Photoshop and InDesign pages with impact.
