Molly Watkin found the course interesting and educational as she managed to create a variety of products that displayed her abilities in sketching, model making, CAD design and workshop skills. She enjoyed CAD design the most because it allowed her to develop her ideas and bring them to life in 3D. She completed a range of projects during the course, which she feels has shown her the different avenues of design she could consider doing when the time comes.

As for the future, Watkin wants to take time to travel and experience the world away from university. Then she wants to come back and complete a PGCE. Watkin shared, “this is because teaching others about product design would make me happy as I want others to experience and have access to the resources I have had. I would also consider working in design myself on a smaller scale, maybe with my own business or within a small team, but I am open to what the future holds as of now.”
