Satur Chong was born in Malaysia in 2001 and was educated and is currently based in the UK. Chong sees jewellery as a unique form to explore the relationship between individual and public, artist and audience. She is proceeding with her Jewellery and Metal master’s degree at the Royal College of Art. Besides being an independent artist, her future practice aims toward running research projects and curating public events in the field of contemporary jewellery as well as across various disciplines e.g installation art.
