Tia Lacie is a feminist artist, mainly using found objects in her work, with childlike imagery and a strict colour pallet of baby pinks, cream, brown and sometimes a very pale green. She says: “I use my art to reclaim my childhood, adopting the same aesthetics I loved when I was very little. Working with textiles is very empowering to me, I love learning about the history of embroidery but even just aesthetically, I absolutely love anything frilly, lacey or fluffy”.
