Yali Tan’s work expresses the fact that jewellery can be worn in many ways, and is more personal to the wearer and their understanding. Attending the Jewellery Design and Metal Fabrication course at Sheffield Hallam University has opened Tan’s mind to a wider range of jewellery design, learning some new skills in jewellery making, and using electronic software to create art. Tan is open to trying out a variety of artistic jobs in varying industries.
