Magic Travel

A young girl travels to an unknown country alone. During a festival celebrated with family, she finds herself alone. On that day, she dreams of receiving a present from someone. The toy she receives becomes alive and takes her back to her hometown.

The film Magic Travel, is a 2D animation about a dream. The entire film is hand-drawn, with character designs created in a sketchbook style. Inspired by childhood love for manga, this style is represented in the film. The idea stems from a personal dream with few remembered details. The creator, Ting Lan, aims to make a collection of short animated clips based on memorable dreams. This film marks the beginning of a journey in making animations that relate real life to animation.
