Blue Dunnington-Booth invites you to wait with them, wait for them, wait here for a while. Waiting Room in ‘BLUE’s bLUE’ is a fully immersive and interactive installation of a to-scale waiting room showcasing ‘BLUE’s bLUE’, a new shade of blue found by Blue (the person, the bluest blue), this installation allows the audience to sit fully immersed in ‘BLUE’s bLUE’ and feel the discomfort of their first voluntary waiting experience. Waiting as a practice, is never voluntary and this work is a demonstration of the purgatory Blue sat in for so long and fought so hard to escape. This a self portrait, a baring of self to an audience in a vulnerable way a true depiction of Blue’s mind and soul. Blue Dunnington-Booth is ‘BLUE’s bLUE’ and ‘BLUE’s bLUE’ is Blue Dunnington-Booth.
