This season of Gravity Guest Lectures we invite speakers to think and talk with us about art practice as an expanded form. An expanded art practice is always a work in progress, a process of assemblage that shifts and changes, locating itself as much with the past as with the contemporary. We might imagine an expanded practice between the virtual and the actual, involving connectivity between past histories and memories of art (our own and others), and also all the future possibilities and potentialities for art-making. Any material, process, technique or form might lead to ideas through making or marking. As such an expanded practice is a source of production for creativity, new kinds of thought, and new kinds of action.
