ATLAS’S work centers around the dehumanization of the female body and our lived experience with sexual violence. She explores these topics through creating humanoid birds made mostly from clay and wire. Her work offers a bit of humor mixed in with the vulnerability and fragility that comes when opening up about sexual assault.
