Fay Churchill, an artist whose practice currently entails a mix of photography and paintings of Sheffields forgotten spaces through the local graffiti and street art scene. Treating buildings like carcass’ of a gallery, art always on display yet barely any viewers due to law and restrictions. Inspired by narrative of rebellion and art in unexpected places, Churchills focal point is to capture and distribute the hidden art created by the public themselves and displaying many more unknown local artists as most don’t venture into the locations and will never see the talent and creativity stuck in abandoned spaces.
