Kader Casley is a contemporary artist whose work functions as a coping mechanism and therapy process for his struggles with Epilepsy, Mental health and Neurodiversity. Casley has a rough and ready approach to much of his work which is a nod towards the UK graffiti scene that inspired and spawned his work. His practice is poetic in nature and visualised through use of text, calligraphy and symbols. Words, phrases and short poems are key features in much of his work and serve as the visual expression of his complex internal dialogue.
