Kate Allen is an illustrator inspired by all things quirky and zany. Allen has developed a wide range of skills from her experimentation in different medias, including clay, paint and collage. Her love of collectible figures inspired her to create detailed models and stuffed toys. She strives to breathe life into her 3D characters, by making art a physical experience. During her degree, she was heavily influenced by British and Japanese folklore. She explores how these stories can be transferred to a modern audience in her work.
