Laura Prendergast questions every accepted convention of how we are conditioned to perceive the neurotypical norms of society; she claims this act as a casual ongoing art practice. She believes that art does not always have to be tangible. Prendergast has a sculptural practice centred around the human form and emotion. She enjoys life casting as a way to combine the tactility of making with human connection. Prendergast enjoys creating atmosphere within her art and in the future sees herself designing Ghost Trains, Curating at a Gallery or working as an Art Therapist.
