Throughout her four years at Sheffield Hallam University, Nicola Boys has gained a strong passion in designing, especially within specific areas in homeware, furniture and design for health. After doing the graduation final major, Boys has explored a different area within product design where she has gained knowledge and interest in design for health. She has a wide range of design skills that she intends to expand in her design profession, particularly in the area of human-centred design, linking to the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the vulnerability of elderly people.
