Priyaguna Sundararajan Visalakshi is a Hand embroidery artisan and a fashion designer. Making with hands has always fascinated her. Hailing from India, all her works are deeply rooted in traditional hand making practices yet explores the methods and material innovations of the contemporary times. She aspires to create designs that resonate and celebrate the rich, diverse cultures of different parts of the world. She believes that, the ability to connect and identify with the elements of designing would make the creations ethereal. Studying MA Design course in Sheffield Hallam University introduced her to the world of contemporary design possibilities and the scope of having a multidisciplinary approach to designing.
