As a queer-led sculptor, Valentine constantly explores and redefines the boundaries of identity. They crave to challenge societal norms, pulling from themes such as consuming flesh, the occult, monsters and body – combining those themes with playful colours and cute imagery.

Valentine often works with materials like fiber, clay, and paper to curate an arrangement of textures that demand to be touched. Their sculptures are playful, and slightly off putting at once to both entice and unnerve the viewers.
