Amelie Steer is a multidisciplinary artist who analyses the intersection of Fine Art and Visual Communication through explorations of colour, shape and form. Steer’s practice navigates and presents her investigations through translations of 2D forms and concepts, into 3D installations that respond to and embed within their environment. By ranging her choice of materials from digital media to the physicality of oil on canvas, she adopts a distinct dialogue that blurs boundaries between art and design. Her experimental approach to materiality, challenges traditional definitions of perception and invites viewers into a space that is conceptually flexible whilst being physically grounded.
