Daisy’s artwork is the culmination of her emotional expression through the use of the colour blue and its many connotations, alongside the utilisation of childhood materials and trinkets. Her materials and their emotive value are the key orifice for her work and her practice. The three pillars that assemble her art practice consist of the act of belonging, the feeling of homesickness and the reminiscence of childhood memories, and the sense of nostalgia. These emotive concepts form the premise of her work and represent the journey she have been making towards her artistic and emotional self actualisation.
