Mary Farrall is a Sheffield-based multidisciplinary Artist, originally from Scarborough. Textile, labour and production are themes she interrogates through sculpture and performance. Her hometown and women in her family have always guided her practice. Exploring place and identity through Scarborough’s heritage maritime Gansey, she learnt that objects have the potential to hold memory and narrative.
