Yingyi Liu began studying interior design in 2018, collaborating on projects such as Ikea’s restaurant entrance and an installation for EPIC’s youth crime prevention programme, gaining insight into social issues and improving skills in teamwork and communication. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and has skills in hand drawing and computer design software. She has participated in a number of other projects during her time on the course and plans to study a postgraduate course in the UK in the future. She plans to work as a design assistant with a Chinese construction company and will be looking for an internship in the UK after completing her postgraduate course.
