AFG Plan is an art gallery in a railway station, exploring the usability of shared design in public space. It uses knowledge of interior design and spatial planning to rationalise the use of space according to the needs of different types of people and helps niche artists to present themselves. After the Coronavirus pandemic, people are more eager than ever for tactile and human interaction, and artwork is no exception. Redeveloping this train station where people come and go frequently, Yingyi Liu created a visually striking place that takes advantage of the station’s footfall to increase human interaction with the space and artwork.
