“The clouds have darkened my eyes. The axes have hacked the roots from where my life begins. I used to have a home, but nowadays I’m all alone. Where do my wings belong? The wildfire has devoured my feathers. Now I see, Azrael has already mourned for my destiny. The heavenly echoes, the blue waves, are they still crossing your mind?”
This work describes a faint hope of life. Deforestation has led to the loss of species biodiversity – in particular, the little blue macaw has lost its habitat and food, and has become extinct in the wild. We can no longer see the blue figure in the sky. The hope in the work calls on human beings to stop harming nature.
