The focus on human emotions was simply analysed in my research from various perspectives, participants can feel different emotions through the visual and tactile effects brought about by different plants. Taking inspiration from the visual and tactile effects of different plants Wangnan Feng has designed jewellery to stimulate people’s senses visually and tactilely and help them explore their inner worlds. Feng says: “I have always been interested in the topic of human emotions, so this is a project related to emotions. I find that very few people are able to focus on their own emotions, and in most cases are pulled by society, forcing us to conform, to care about other people’s emotions. I want people to be less concerned with what others think whenever they feel like it, and more concerned with their own hearts and emotions”. Feng suggests that by offering different perspectives different mental activity is produced inducing different emotions and responses.
