Inspired by the physical sensations of acupuncture and their expression, Rita Wang’s jewellery uses the sense of touch to help wearers express their emotions to others. She says: “People need to be more socially aware and the sense of touch is a great way to engage with others. I hope to bring jewellery into people’s communication and interaction, so that people can feel empathy”.
