Cinnamon has an aroma that brings peace to everyone. It links traditional rituals that spread across Asian cultures to an English winter. Scent of Memory is a collection of three pieces of jewellery with a strong scent. In his work, Douglas Liu use cinnamon sticks as material to make jewellery that tells stories about rituals, culture, and personal memories. Liu would like to share that smell with every viewer to express his feelings and sensations through his work.
