The Baby Blues

Eloise Collett’s graduate collection ‘The Baby Blues’ pays homage to her heritage and upbringing with an alcohol abusive father. She has compiled her whole life’s journey into this year-long project as a form of self-healing and giving representation to the girl who lives inside her that never got to speak this truth without fear of rocking the boat. Her collection’s tone is dark and muddy with pink accessories. She wanted to grasp the waves of fear and sadness that came with a parental dynamic like hers, whilst maintaining the reminder of innocence and childhood.
