“The Yorkshire G’s” is a project based on the family history of Annie Speckman’s grandads, Brian and Ray. It explores their history as jockey and rugby league players. and combines the two sports, to create an interesting collection looking at shapes, colours and movements.

Speckman’s work also explores her Grandad Ray’s history of bricklaying, looking at geometric shapes to develop a print – and how these cross over into the life of a jockey and a rugby league player.
