Leungching Ma’s jewellery explores the connection between body, shadow, and object. Jewellery, as wearable artworks, is usually physical, but but in Ma’s work the shadows the jewellery cast when worn are also part of the artwork. Ma also uses different coloured metal wires to distinguish between shadows and objects, contrasting the touchable and untouchable.
