Yingxi Lyu has explored the conflict between individuality and societal demands for conformity in her contemporary jewellery collection Keep Real. She sees this work as an exhibition on the streets, inviting anyone to be a model. Wearers place their hands on the brooch in a gesture encouraging them to feel and express their inner selves.
