Studying interior architecture and design at Sheffield Hallam University has allowed Ryan Wegg to work on a wide range of projects in design sectors including commercial and residential, as well as with live clients on briefs. Wegg also discovered many areas and parts of Sheffield he did not know about or was unfamiliar with.

Wegg has learned skills including CAD which will be useful in his chosen career path of freelancing. He gained experience freelancing when completing a placement with the Enterprise Team where he set up his own illustrations business R.A.W.Designs. He makes hyper-realistic vector art portrait prints that he sells on Etsy and in person and would like to keep doing this alongside freelance interior design. In his work, Wegg has played around with mixing his unique illustration style with his interior design and is looking forward to continuing this with more clients and commissions.
