The purpose of this project is to investigate the current trend of creating creative and active workplaces that encourage productivity with a good balance of mental health. Vaishali Raja Rajendran‘s research takes a critical look at the growing practice of designing workplace environments to boost organizational creativity. It brings up topics related to creativity and workstation designs, implying that there are additional intricacies to the problem.
Rajendran discovered that the images of creative workspaces carry ideas about how spaces are thought to boost creativity, such as home and nature, as well as fun, technologically inspired, and symbolic environments. The real challenge is not only creating a space that is creative and appealing but also a space that is designed to consider the needs of the employee and what can help them to be creative, productive, active as well maintain a healthy mental state of mind.
