Collectable toy cars are the inspiration for Andy Kellett’s range of crypto-collectibles.
A crypto-collectible is a cryptographically unique, non-fungible digital asset. Unlike cryptocurrencies, which require all tokens to be identical, each crypto-collectible token is unique or limited in quantity. Kellett’s Crypto Cars are a range of cars similar to Hot Wheels or Micro Machines. Users can collect parts of the car and customise different car builds for performance or appearance. They can even race their customised cars against their friends or compete in tournaments and special events to win limited edition parts.
As well as designing the range of collectibles Kellett has created a prototype app for users to interact with each other. The app includes a garage where they can customise their cars, racetrack and the custom part marketplace.
Kellett’s interests are in branding and user interface/user experience design. He is currently looking for an internship in a design studio and is keen to explore different areas of design.
