Let’s Get Mad is a graphical tool created to tackle ineffective protest.
Aimee Brockley has created a provocatively designed website to encourage and empower young adults to make meaningful political protests. Website features include an ‘interest tracker’, world-to-home map of political fields, wayfinding systems and an interactive placard design tool. The site’s anti-design aesthetic is an implicit protest itself.
Brockley places herself somewhere between a graphic designer and illustrator, combining different media, materials, techniques and processes in her highly personal graphic style.
“I must be very passionate about a specific topic before I begin to design. My provocative, political thinking and need to convey a message propels me to create informative, educational pieces and helps me gain a greater understanding of subjects.”
