Part of a small collaborative team to create the visual identity and design collateral for the Graphic Design & UX degree show. Working with the degree show name, titled ‘DOT DOT DOT’, they developed a grid-based system which allows users to interact with and produce their own visual outcome (using dots of course). By allowing an audience to become part of the design process, we are creating an inclusive, creative environment which encourages a playful approach to design thinking & making.

“Objects have histories that shape us in particular ways” - A starting point for a personal project helping to navigate Sarah Graham’s feelings of grief after losing her grandparents. This publication, formatted as a pack of playing cards, an activity which Graham and her grandad used to play when she visited, acts as a prompt to ease those difficult conversations surrounding grief, and provides an opportunity to reflect on positive memories shared.
Transmission, Publication, 15x21cm, 2022
Transmission Festival is a one-day event hosted by Sheffield Hallam which welcomes designers from the industry to talk to Level 5 Graphic Design students about their practice. Working alongside a collaborative team Sarah Graham helped to establish the visual identity and design collateral for the event. They created an adaptive modular system that alternates in motion. Graham then worked with team member, Adam Goodwin, to produce the publication for the event.
Written Document, Publication, 29.7x12cm, 2022
A written document produced in response to the statement “Why I Don’t Read”. Split into three parts, the document explores Sarah Graham’s issues with the current standardised book design, and why physical book design needs to be re-considered to offer a more inclusive, multi-sensory approach. The design of the document aims to support her idea of delivering an unconventional mode of reading, opposing the design of a traditional book format, and providing a new experience of interacting with a book.

Made for designers & design educators, Sarah Graham‘s MOD BLOX is a modular-based print tool which introduces visual enquiry into a modular design system which can later be applied to their chosen design disciplines. The kit comes with 36 blocks that can be arranged and rearranged within a variety of grid systems and patterns, allowing users to create geometrically-driven typography, images and patterns adopting many visual forms.
