“Can jewellery be used as a silent language to help people express different interpersonal preferences of communication?”

Everyone needs time by themselves, to be themselves. Being together all the time can suffocate any type of relationship. Lanxuan Zhong’s project Silent Expression uses jewellery as a silent language to help people convey ideas. Transforming language into sight and touch to remind people of the importance of personal space. Through the interaction between the wearer and others, people can ‘feel’ the wearer’s thoughts creating personal space without language communication.
