Srilekha Bollampally’s projects explore the formation of self-image in an individual through lived experience and to understand the difference between ‘information about you’ and ‘Who are you?’.
Auto-ethnographic research and analytical study resulted in two design outcpomes: a calendar Living Through Your Past which used travel photographs and Pātra, a puzzle, where the challenge lies in making a geometric shape of a square in the tray using all nine triangles from the box. Pātra translates to the term ‘Character’ and is derived from Sanskrit language. Pātra is a representation of the role you play in this world with all the traits or qualities that distinguish all of us as individuals.
