The storytelling power of ancient Indian architecture and its ability to captivate the viewer has inspired Archana Manjunatha Thota’s design for an exhibition, Women of India which explores the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai, using elements of architecture and subtle sensory perceptions in the space. The design contains six parts that unfold a series of events that make the viewer understand the story from her birth to her martyrdom on the battlefield. A walk through the exhibition takes the viewer through the ups and downs of her life with various design elements that capture the time she lived and elements that represent her personal lifestyle.
