You’re All Chrome

Paulina Sutkute’s project is a universe friendly, biodegradable brand, specialising in glitter makeup products. “You’re All Chrome” is a self initiated project, inspired by Sutkute’s love and passion for makeup. This brand was designed for many reasons. Most cosmetic brands are not sustainable or gender friendly, and some even still test on animals, but Sutkute’s brand, Chrome, goes against these factors. The world is facing a major issue with plastic pollution, and glitter has played its own part. Defined as a micro-plastic, traditional polyester glitter takes hundreds of years to degrade. This brand utilises Bio-glitter, a sustainable alternative to plastic, which replaces the polyester film used in traditional glitter, with cellulose from hardwoods. The majority of well known cosmetic brands are designed to look feminine, and attract female users, however, Sutkute has purposefully created Chrome’s design to be gender-neutral, and therefor the brand welcomes all makeup lovers, no matter their gender. Glitters are for everyone and they can be environmentally friendly too.
