“In a world where everyone is transfixed by social media, I want to pull people back into the real world to experience through art, fashion and nightlife. I want to build a community that puts sustainability and experiences at the centre of everything, as well as uplifting small creatives through collaboration”.
RSVP is an imaginary band she designed, who play small gigs at house parties, on rooftops and in warehouses (to name a few venues), to encourage the best atmosphere and appreciation for music and fashion. The idea is that the band design and make all of their own clothes using entirely second hand materials- which is a commitment Sherrington implemented in her actual collection. This collection is designed for those who crave reassurance that the future is a positive one, and to not be blindsided by greenwashing but to see real proof. Sherrington created this collection for those who want to immerse themselves in creativity and let loose from the rat race. “I want to create art and experiences that make people feel” Sherrington explains.
