“Why do we feel the need to grow up so fast?”
Is the question Emily Plant has always wondered. Growing up Plant was surrounded by other children who dreamt of being a ‘grown up’. But being an adult now, she finds herself longing to return to a time she can no longer have. The freedom, the fun and whimsy that is hard to have as an adult. So within this project Plant aims to explore this idea of growing up and that childhood whimsy presented within a womenswear collection.
